Mgb Roadster- 1967 MK1 with Overdrive for sale.
Only approx 20 percent of MK1 roadsters had overdrive factory fitted. This is working correctly and the car drives very well . The combination of BRG paintwork and chrome wires really are a classic combo. The paintwork is very good, as is the chrome . The hood is almost new and has no imperfections. There is a half tonneau cover and a full tonneau too. There is the addition of a quality stainless luggage rack, which again really compliments the overall classic look. The chrome wires are all good and are shod with fairly new radials that haven’t done many miles.
The interior is excellent in Black with cream piping. All the original Smiths gauges appear to be functioning correctly. Nice to see the original 3 spoke banjo style steering wheel. There is the addition of stainless sill guards, a battery isolator switch and a cd player. The boot space is very clean and houses a full wire spare wheel with a carpeted cover and an original jack, wheel brace and mallet. Engine and engine are nice and clean and free of any leaks etc. The engine runs very well indeed and sounds strong whist stood and on the road. Nice clean early example, with excellent parts availability and a huge club scene this MK1 roadster is ready to hit the road and bring a smile .
