Description
This stunning 1953 MG TD was purchased by the last family in 1973. It underwent a full restoration which was completed in 1978. There is a fantastic history file with lots of documentation including buff log book, photos of the car dating back to the 70's, a letter from a previous owner in London and a large stack of servicing invoices detailing maintenance over the years. There has been much recent expenditure including mechanical work, tuning and 5 new Michelin tyres.
At some paint in its early life the seats were changed to single bucket type which are a must for taller drivers, this is the first TD I've been comfortable in!! The car drives very well and is a pleasure to be behind the wheel. There are signs of age to the paintwork but nothing that detracts from the charming look of the car
It is complete with soft top, side screens and tonneau cover.
