1962 Sunbeam Rapier Series 3A 1592cc with overdrive.
A matching numbers car with original engine and just 25827 miles from new.
A wholly original car other than paint refreshments a few years ago but not a restored car so with the patena that only age can create.
The original carpets , seats, headlining are still in place and in lovely condition, the dash other than a few added clocks ( voltmeter, stopwatch, vacuum gauge and something that we have never seen before a brake meter gauge).
The Rapier presents really well with excellent panel gaps, lovely paint finish and bright chrome work, the underside is totally solid with floors and sills in excellent shape.
The history file is really good and also comes with the original bill of sale, owners manuals and handbooks, press cuttings, old mot’s, spare keys, service and parts invoices and handwritten owners notes.
On the road the Rapier performs exactly as it should with a very sweet engine with really good oil pressure, a smooth gearbox with working overdrive.
