Registered as a historic vehicle in Germany

The Veritas brand is one of the most important sports cars of the immediate post-war period in Germany. Developed by former BMW engineers led by Ernst Loof, the model was produced as a limited-production racing and sports car starting in 1947. Technically, the Veritas was based on the BMW 328, but was constructed with a lightweight, handcrafted aluminum body.

During the late 1940s and 1950s, Veritas was represented on all racetracks in Europe and beyond, including in Formula 1 and Formula 2. Between 1948 and 1953, they won 13 German championship titles. They were also successful on circuits and in hillclimb races, achieving 71 class victories.
