Description

A lovely, low milage, factory armoured L322 with a really interesting history. The colour combination of this Range Rover is perfect, Epsom Green over cream leather, a specification fit for Royalty. What also makes this car notable is the milage, which currently sits at just 29k, with only 2 previous keepers.

This vehicle was ordered directly from JLR rather than a dealership and was then sent to Special Vehicle Operations as proved by it’s obligatory SVO data plate under the bonnet.

It was ordered in May 2003 by a Royal family which we will not be disclosing on the listing, and was owned by them until 2018. It was used to transport dignitaries, VIPs and Royals to and from their UK estate. Since then it has done around 4k miles and has been garaged in a private collection. This L322 has a very interesting history and we have been in contact with someone who drove this car for the aforementioned Royal family, and they had some amazing stories.

It was serviced and maintained to the highest standard by Land Rover during it’s Royal ownership. The accompanying paperwork logs show various service visits to Gaydon, although the servicing paperwork itself was not kept with the car for security reasons. Since 2018 the car was serviced by James French, with some paperwork from a couple of other specialists.

The brakes were heavily uprated by SVO and have recently had and the pads changed at a cost of £1700. 00.
It’s also just had all 5 of it’s tyres replace with the correct spec of run flats tyres (inc spare).

Under the bonnet lies the famous BMW 4. 4 V8 which SVO uprate to 306hp along with an uprated gearbox.

So to sum this one up if you are looking for a L322 with a difference then this is the one. The right colour, low mileage, low owners and unique specification. It’s about as close to a real life Bond car as you are likely to find.
