Description

Date of Reg: 10th October 1989 (Decl. man. 1934)

Tax Class: Historic Vehicle

The Riley Lincock is one of Riley’s rarest and most distinctive pre-war fixed head coupes. Riley described it as “an intimate car for two – speedy luxuriously equipped and roomy – light to handle with exceptionally low build.”

This super little coupe dated from 1934 is powered by the famous 9hp Riley engine of 1087cc with the benefit of twin SU’s mated to the 4-speed all helical gearbox.

With only 300 or so examples built during a two year period (1932-1934) this car is now a rare surviving example.

Restored in the 1990s (pictorial record) the Lincock comes with the old V5s and the buff logbook stating date of registration as 10th July 1934.

Presenting beautifully with black and green paintwork, this Riley has an interior finished in dark tan leather with matching upholstery; an absolute joy. The roof flaps work as they should and the sunroof operates smoothly giving an airy feel when open.

A simply lovely example awaiting its new custodian priced at £15700.
