November 1995 Mercedes-Benz E220 Cabriolet (A124 series)
Legendary W124 platform, here in A124 Cabriolet form - a later, face-lift example finished in Silver with Black Mohair hood and sat upon its original 15" 8-hole alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet, we find the popular 150Bhp 2. 2 litre four-cylinder M111. 960 petrol engine which develops 210NM of torque, driving the rear wheels via four-speed automatic transmission with Sports and Economy modes.
Inside, we find a comfortable Grey leather interor, Walnut trim, manually adjustable seats with Orthapedic adjustment for the driver's seat, 2-stage heated front seats, electric front and rear windows, electric front mirrors, heated glass rear screen, eletrically controlled rear head rests which double as automatically deployed roll over protection and retrofit Song Xplod radio/ CD player plus CD changer in the boot.
The car presents well having covered just 81, 000 miles with few minor marks commensurate with its age/ mileage and has formed part of a Private Collection since purchase in 2022 with minimal dry, summer use only during this time and performed admirably when collected and driven up to us in Worcester.
