The 20/ 25 Rolls-Royce range are known as the small horsepower models. Following on from the 20hp engines, the increase helped to tackle the larger and heavier bodies being built on the RR chassis.
This vehicle was reputedly owned by the pioneering plastic surgeon, Archibald McIndoe. The vendor found the car languishing in a local barn in 1999 and undertook its complete ground-up restoration in the ensuing years. Upon completion, it was found that the cylinder head was cracked and it was treated to one of the first batches of aluminium heads – at great expense! Another favourite of the vendor, it was regularly driven and shown.
