Beautiful 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1A
This 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1A is a beautiful example and a strong driver, finished in Forest Green over a refreshed black interior. A desirable MK 1A that starts right up and drives great. In 2022, the 260ci V8 engine and Toploader four-speed manual transmission were professionally overhauled, while the body was repainted and the interior extensively renewed. The cabin features reupholstered black vinyl bucket seats, matching door panels, dash surround, and center console. Additional interior updates included new carpeting and door panels.
Mechanically, the rebuilt 260ci V8 was bored 0. 040 inches over and upgraded with a Holley carburetor and Pertronix electronic ignition. Further enhancements include an aluminum intake manifold, chrome valve covers, aftermarket water pump pulley, and performance exhaust headers. Supporting work included re-coring the radiator, flushing and resealing the fuel tanks, replacing the fuel lines, and installing a new exhaust system. Well-sorted and extensively refreshed, this Tiger offers the rare combination of classic British roadster styling and Ford V8 performance.
