Description
Just arrived at South Norfolk Classics
1962 MGA fitted with an 1860cc MGB Fast Road Stage 2 engine with uprated cam shaft and twin choke Weber 45 DCOE carburettor, Stainless steel Maniflow sports exhaust, type 9 Five speed gearbox, Hoyle independent rear suspension and Hoyle brakes with 4 wheel discs (4 pot calipers)
Finished in British Racing Green with Black interior with white piping this outstanding huge spec MGA was purchased by the registered keeper 21 years ago but in 2016 was fully restored by TR Enterprises at a cost of over £50000 with a bill on file and there was additional work on top of that bringing the total to nearer £55000
All of the above listed work was carried out 10 years ago and this stunning car has covered under 1000 miles since.
We have had some outstanding MGA’s over the years and several in recent times but this car is truly the most exhilarating to drive by a country mile!
The upgrades elevate this car to a completely different level, the car has real attitude with its sporty set up with independent rear suspension, wider stainless wire wheels and negative camber and wheels that fill the arches.
Once you start to drive this car you really do not want to stop.
The car comes with full weather gear, hood and side screens which neither were replaced in the restoration and have never been on the car in the last keepers 21 years of ownership, they look to be in good condition but old.
There is a mohair tonneau for ease rather than using the hood.
A superb example which will appeal more for drivability rather than to the purist.
