Description
Selling PEUGEOT 505 GTD TURBO automatic gearbox in good working order, engine and gearbox. The bodywork and paint are original with a few minor marks of use but there is no corrosion or major impact damage. The blue Pullman interior is in good condition, no tears or wear, only the rear headrests are sun-bleached, the roof lining is in perfect condition as are the door trim panels. The front electric windows and central locking work perfectly. Blaupunkt car radio works except for the cassette player. The dashboard is not cracked, only the steering wheel becomes porous with age but remains in reasonable condition.
Recently replaced parts are: brake master cylinder, front brake discs and pads, both rear wheel cylinders, power steering actuator, both front steering ball joints with front end alignment carried out, one front left damper ball joint, small front spoiler (new). There is an invoice for an injection pump overhaul in 2021 from a garage (value €1200. 00). Original manuals are present.
The MOT is OK but there is a braking issue: noise at the front when braking and the vacuum pump may have an issue, front calliper may be seizing perhaps??... to be determined. IMPORTANT: I must clarify that the car still brakes well, the MOT confirms this.
The vehicle drives well and presents very nicely for its age, it's a pleasure to drive as it's very quiet.
