The Appeal
The Volvo P1800 gained worldwide fame when driven by Roger Moore in "The Saint", but drivers in the know already cherished the car very happily. Boasting remarkable Scandinavian reliability, the 1800 was a car happy to rack up the miles, and did so inside beautiful bodywork by Pelle Petterson - under the watchful eye of the legendary Pietro Frua. It's a classic that ticks all of the desirable boxes.
This particular 1967 example has been in the current ownership for 9 years and is believed to have covered just 100 miles in the last five years. The car has benefited from extensive mechanical attention including a comprehensive brake system overhaul, new suspension components, and regular fluid changes, and is now ready and waiting for its lucky new owner.
