The Plus
While German production switched to the T2 'Bay Window' model for the 1968 model year, Volkswagen Brazil continued to manufacture the much-loved T1 'Split Screen' until 1975. Here's one of those models, but not just any model: a 23-window 'Samba', known as the 'Deluxe' in Brazil.
Restored in 2023, it has benefited from a complete refurbishment, both inside and out. Its original 1,500cc engine is still in place and running perfectly, with even compression across all four cylinders.
Registered in France with a Carte Grise de Collection and accompanied by a Contrôle Technique, this superb Type 2 is ready to be enjoyed. With such a colour combination, it will never go unnoticed!image.png3.96 MB
