Attractions

By the end of the 1960s, Jaguars were beginning to look a little old-fashioned. There were four different saloons in the range, all sharing a rather outdated design, and the House of the Jaguar wanted to freshen up its image and face the approaching 1970s in style.

The new XJ6 was presented to the press in 1968 and very quickly became one of the most successful Jaguars ever. It was a car from which many drew inspiration and strongly influenced all the saloons born in the next forty years and beyond. The XJ6 not only streamlined Jaguar's range but also profoundly renewed its image, presenting itself as a more muscular, modern and capable car.

For the more sophisticated clientele, looking for a prestigious car capable of excellent performance, the XJ6 was the perfect choice. Despite being a rather large and imposing car, it offered an exceptionally comfortable driving experience and outstanding performance.

This handsome 1970 example is in excellent condition, having recently received a great deal of attention that has restored all its charm and panache. We have no doubt that it will win over its next lucky owner.
