The Appeal

This customised Lambretta comes from a well-regarded specialist. They state that any of their custom scooters are a labour of love. But this one, they say, is particularly so - we’re told that 2,000 hrs have gone into the engraving work alone. It is a true labour of love and one of only four produced during 2025.
The Black Noveau is fitted with a new 200cc engine block, which has only covered a few miles since fitment, so still needs running in. But the Black Noveau is really all about the cosmetics. The engraving work covers the engine cover, horncast, grill, headset blocks and levers, stand feet, air scoop, air intake housing, front and rear hubs and kick lever. The vendor says that the word ‘unique’ gets thrown around a lot these days, but he states that you can be sure this scooter is absolutely a one-off.
This scooter looks like a sure-fire show stealer. And you’ll be the first person to ride it. A stunning addition to any scooter collection.
The vendor writes:
“Riding the Lambretta is a nostalgic and fun experience, blending classic scooter charm with solid performance. Its 198cc engine provides enough power for zippy acceleration and a comfortable top speed, making it ideal for city commuting and leisurely rides. The lightweight design and compact frame make it highly manoeuvrable, offering smooth handling in tight spaces and traffic. While the drum brakes and simple suspension system aren't as refined as modern counterparts, they still provide a reliable and enjoyable ride on well-maintained roads. Overall, the Lambretta offers a perfect mix of vintage style, practicality and a playful, engaging riding experience.”
