The Appeal

You can't beat Italian design.

This 1979 Ducati is a case in point. It's undeniably beautiful from every angle, with sumptuous curves and lashings of highly-polished trim to catch the eye.

Featuring the desmodromic valve actuation that has long been a hallmark of Ducati engineering, the 350 Sport delivers a rev-happy riding experience in a lightweight, manageable package. These smaller-capacity Ducatis have long lived in the shadow of their larger siblings, but they are increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate their agility and mechanical charm.
This 1979 example was imported from Italy as part of a job lot and has since been registered in the UK. Acquired as a non-runner, it has been comprehensively recommissioned. Cosmetically, it has been repainted in a beige Chanel-inspired colour scheme, with the Ducati name hand-signwritten on the tank. The seat has been re-trimmed in black leather, and the original plastic side panels have been replaced with steel fabricated items. A café fairing has also been fitted. The vendor notes one small area of paint requiring attention and some age-related marks that have been deliberately left to preserve the bike's honest patina.

Whether to impress at shows, delight on the open road or simply display i. your living room, this Ducati has a lot of potential.
