The Appeal
The Honda CB 550 Four is a amongst the highest-regarded middleweights of its era, offering an excellent level of refinement with top-notch performance, a stable ride and excellent handling. With its smooth inline-four engine, reliable mechanics, and timeless styling, it's little wonder these bikes have developed a strong following among classic motorcycle enthusiasts.
This particular 1979 mount is in very good condition, thanks in part to a recently completed paint job. The motorcycle has covered just 30,655 miles and benefits from recent maintenance including new tyres, battery, and an oil service. While it has been stored for several years and may require some attention to the front brake and a small oil leak, this CB 550 Four appears to be a solid example of Honda's engineering from this era.
