The Appeal

The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Mk1, affectionately nicknamed 'Big Fin' due to its unmistakable rear wing, is one of Ford's most iconic performance vehicles of the 1980s. Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering division developed this high-performance variant of the Sierra and became an instant classic with its distinctive aerodynamic styling and impressive turbocharged performance.

What makes this particular example special is its single ownership history since new in 1986, having been purchased in Germany and meticulously maintained by its sole owner. The car has been used sparingly throughout its life, resulting in low mileage and a well-preserved condition. Recently, it has benefited from a professional respray in its original colour by a specialist workshop, and has just been fitted with new tyres that have covered only about 10 kilometres.
