The Appeal
For Ducati devotees, the 750 F1 Desmo is a very special machine. Based upon the championship winning Ducati 600 TT2 race bike, the 750 F1 offered blistering on-road performance. Few were made, making surviving examples incredibly desirable and we’re delighted to offer this stunning original example.
Presented in excellent unrestored condition, this Ducati is said to run and ride impeccably. We’re sure this F1 will generate a great deal of interest amongst collectors and it will certainly attract many an admiring glance when out and about. For anyone seeking a low mileage, original example, don’t miss out on this wonderful bike.

This is a very good looking motorcycle, with a muscular, hunkered down appearance that conveys a sense of power. A front fairing ensures the rider is tucked into its slipstream and with a deep set seat, you feel very planted on this Ducati.
We’re informed that the paintwork is entirely original and we note it’s in excellent condition for its age, with very few blemishes. The trellis frame looks immensely smart, with no signs of damage in sight. There’s very little wear to the grips, foot pegs or saddle and the screen remains transparent. The Veglia instrumentation looks great and we’re informed that it functions correctly.
In summary, a very fine example that presents exceedingly well in its original condition.
The Mechanics
- 750cc air-cooled L-twin that acts as a stressed member
- Twin PHM 40 Dell’Orto carburetors
- Racing silencer
- Twin Brembo discs up front with a single Brembo in the rear
