The Attractions
Honestly, we feel a lot of nostalgia for the good old days of 'woody' station wagons: a typically American fashion that consisted of applying wood or more often faux wood trim to the sides of station wagons and sometimes off-roaders.
This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is one of the most famous and classic 'woodies'. And it would be very difficult to find a better example than this one. The seller has assured us that it has never been driven off-road, and we have no difficulty in believing this when we admire its incredible original condition. All the original exterior trim is present and in splendid shape, which is very rare even in the best preserved examples. The seller tells us that among the many rare and valuable features on this car, which will certainly be appreciated by collectors, are an original Jeep spoiler, chrome rain deflectors on the windows and original towing equipment.
The seller informed us:
"In the interior, all damaged upholstery has been replaced, respecting the original sand-coloured trim. The bodywork is embellished with an elegant Pearl White colour, and all rust spots have been repaired over the years."
"The car is fitted with two sets of original Jeep wheels (1978-1987 series and 1988-1992 series). All pneumatic and electrical systems are fully functional, including air conditioning, selectable 2WD/4WD drive system and reduced gears."
