The Appeal
Fans of slinky 70s Eurodisco may need a reminder that in the 1990s there was another Baccara, one with four wheels but a similarly luxurious vibe. The Baccara was a sumptuously-appointed Mk1 Clio with acres of plush leather plus wood veneer, plentiful electrics and smart multispoke alloys. This was executive motoring shrunk to city car size.
This 1993 1.4L Baccara must surely be, not only one of the best of surviving of these rare cars but also amongst the best Mk1 Clios in existence. The odometer indicates that it has covered just 8,313 kms from new. While we can’t verify that, the condition certainly supports the sense of an extremely low mileage car.
This rare and extremely luxurious Clio will suit the most discerning of collectors.
