The Appeal
The Dunhill DB7 began life as a one-off show car to commemorate the association between the two firms. The car got bespoke Silver Grey paintwork, custom Charcoal Connolly leather interior, plus exclusive alloy wheels.
Customer demand led to plans for 150, although in practice, just 78 were built, of which only 51 were coupes like this car. Buyers could choose between the option of a ‘smoker’ or ‘non-smoker’ pack with a cigar humidor or grooming kit.
With less than 27,000 miles amassed by its quartet of keepers, it is a really smart and well-presented example of the 335bhp supercharged straight six DB7. The array of Dunhill features remains intact, and there are few indications of age or use, including in the interior.
The vendor has helpfully provided service history details below. Since 2018, it has been sparingly used as part of a private collection. The MOT runs to October 2026.
The DB7 is attracting the eyes of collectors. In that climate, low-mileage, special-edition cars stand out. Even without these Dunhill features, this is an extremely tidy example of one of recent motoring’s most beautiful cars.
The vendor says:
“A rare Aston Martin DB7 Dunhill Edition, one of only around 78 produced and approximately 51 coupés, giving it genuine collector appeal. Four owners from new, April 1999 registration, long MOT, and an indicated 18,815 miles (approx. 26,255 miles combined). Presented in honest, original condition with a distinctive Dunhill interior and strong early service history. With straightforward recommissioning, this represents an excellent opportunity for a collector or enthusiast seeking a low-ownership, limited-edition DB7 with real provenance and rarity.”
