Recently replaced cylinder head gasket and timing chain
Four new tyres fitted
Newly installed air-conditioning compressor
Classic, practical and elegant station wagon
Why it's interesting
The Saab 9-5 represented Sweden's refined and distinctive attempt to compete in the lucrative executive saloon segment. Spacious, comfortable and with that typically Saab quirkiness that enthusiasts like, it proved to be a successful model.
The petrol models were powered by Saab engines, including the 2-litre B205E version of the 'H' engine. Reliable, robust and with 150 hp, it offered good performance and a long service life.
This 2000 station wagon is the luxury 'SE' version, with leather interior, dashboard with briarwood inserts and manual gearbox. It was bought by the current owner from a family friend who had owned it since new. After a period of standstill, it was put back on the road with the replacement of the cylinder head gasket, timing chain and the fitting of four new tyres. The air-conditioning compressor was also recently replaced. The seller reports that although it has not been used for about two years, the car starts and runs properly.
An interesting opportunity to stand out with a now rare car that is practical for everyday use and has ample space for the whole family and luggage.IMG_1074.JPG2.77 MB
