The Appeal
The 996 was the most powerful 911 Turbo built to date, its 420bhp creating a car as exciting as its forebears but considerably more surefooted and planted for press-on drivers. The Convertible arrived in 2004.
You could spec your Turbo with an auto box, but of course, you want a 6spd manual, which is what we have here. Classically finished in silver metallic with a black roof and black leather interior, this car has covered less than 37,000 documented miles from new. We admire the considerable restraint of its four keepers.
The car is in very good condition across the interior and exterior, and looks far younger than its 21 years. It is supplied with its matching factory hard top.
The vendor describes the service history as ‘exceptional.’ The MOT supports that view because it runs to July 2026 with no advisories. A fine example of the viscerally thrilling 996 Turbo.
