The Appeal
Equipped with an engine that Jeremy Clarkson rated amongst the best ever made, the B7 cabriolet was a sophisticated response to Munich’s M cars. These cars were built during Audi’s Imperial phase, one marked by hewn-from-stone quality and subtle, understated styling.
This well-kept, factory-standard S4 would make a great summer road trip companion. Comfortable, well specified and with space for four with luggage, it is a serious mile-muncher. It is a two-keeper car, the current one since 2008, and looks smart in dark blue metallic with a black leather and suede cabin. Keen drivers will spot the desirable 6spd manual box.
The car is said to be factory standard in very good running order. We’re told that it has a full Audi service history and has always been garaged, latterly being placed into professional car storage. The current MOT supports the sense of a well-cared-for car - it runs to December 2026.
The vendor says:
“This is a well-maintained and very original example that has been carefully owned for many years. The naturally aspirated V8 engine sounds superb and delivers strong performance, while the car remains comfortable and very usable. It is a refined yet engaging grand tourer, and the combination of the V8 engine with the cabriolet body makes it a very special car to drive.”
