The X358 was the last of the classically-styled XJ saloons, and the ‘Super V8’ was the car that married Jaguar’s twin specialisms - luxury and performance. Where the XJR was all about sporting focus, the Super V8 took that car’s blistering 400bhp supercharged engine and mated it to a high specification cossetting interior.
Just 800 Super V8s were sold worldwide. In Japan they were badged ‘Sovereign’ and this is one of those cars. It spent its life in the salt-free, high maintenance world of Japan until 2024 when it returned to the UK. It has had one keeper since returning.
Finished in the popular combination of Black Pearl metallic with a Soft Charcoal leather and walnut interior, it is a low mileage car in very good order. The history file shows regular maintenance in Japan and a recent service on arrival in the UK. It is usefully ULEZ compliant and carries MOT to December 2025.
