The Appeal
It was always going to take a special car to follow on from Jaguar’s glorious E-Type, and the F-Type more than met the brief. From its launch in 2013, it combined exquisite looks, superb driving dynamics and a cabin which updated Jaguar’s wood-and-leather ethos for the modern age.
This 2014 car was one of the first coupe models to be manufactured, and it still looks arresting today in Portofino Blue paint with ten-spoke alloy wheels. The paintwork is described by the current owner as having “no scratches” and “no apparent corrosion”. A copy of the service history is available to view on request.
Given its performance brief, it’s reassuring that new tyres and front brake pads/discs were fitted as recently as autumn 2024, while the mechanical condition is reportedly fault free.
The History and Paperwork
- MOT due to expire in March 2026
- Current owner since 6th November 2024
- Original owner’s handbook and wallet supplied
- Service history available to view on request
The Condition
- Superb condition inside and out
- No signs of wear on beige leather seats
- Door cards and all switchgear in good order
- Alloy wheels need attention, but tyres are recent
- Meridian sound system fitted
Considering its age, this car is exceptionally well presented, both inside and out. The current owner reports no bodywork corrosion or scratches, and closer inspection bears this out, with the Portofino Blue paint looking pristine other than a few marks along the passenger wing mirror. The ten-spoke alloy wheels show some scuffs and surface corrosion, with recently fitted Michelin tyres offering plentiful grip. The cabin is in excellent order, even across heavy-wear areas like the seat bolsters, grab handles and that delightfully snug gearlever.

The Mechanics
- Three-litre V6 paired with eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox
- No faults displaying on the dashboard
- New front brake discs/pads fitted late 2024
- Car reportedly starts and stops smoothly
This is an excellent example of a well-maintained F-Type, and only a slight sheen on the steering wheel confirms the car’s reported mileage of just over 58,000, with the infotainment screen displaying normally and the boot showing only light signs of use. Flush-fitting door handles still pop out as they should, and there are no mechanical issues reported by the owner.
