1963 Mercedes 190sl a White on Creme driver w 2 Tops
Description:
The exterior was recently repainted to a cream color. The interior is paintwork is the original white.
- The crème and white don’t clash, at least to my eye.
- The body has no apparent dents or dings.
- The black interior material appears to be original, as do the carpets in back.
- Not sure about the cockpit carpet... I did not remove the cockpit carpet completely... There does appear to be some rust on driver side... Beyond that, I don’t know.
- All instruments are in place and work, including the clock... The trunk area was restored at the time the exterior was repainted.
- The well cover is there, but no tools.
- I have a restored hard top and an restored and deteriorated soft top.
- The car has a Becker radio installed, but it may not work... There is an additional Becker radio box and a Becker Europa faceplate.
- In addition to the installed carburetors which I believe to be the original solex’s, I have a pair of webers which I had removed to re-instal the solex’s.
Collectors like the 1963 190sl -- because this is the last year made and not many of them out these...
