Ford Cortina Mk2 1600E
Excellant condition Series 1 1600E in dragoon red first registered 1968 was fully restored in the 1990s to very high standard and well maintained since. Fitted with unleaded 711M block engine, alloy rocker cover , chrome Rostyle wheels, recently fitted full stainless steel exhaust system and all the genuine Series 1 extras . Drives exceptionaly well and just completed 340 mile round trip to Symonds Yat Cortina day show without fault and didnt use a drop of oil! Only faults are a couple of small paint chips and bubbling in very minor areas and a small split in the dash top. MoTed until June 10th 2011 ( but we can retest it if you prefer ) and 12 months FREE tax included. Ready to drive away and straight to the next car show. Only selling because we have too many classic cars and several projects needing funds.
Does need the bumpers and wheels polishing up now as we have been using it through the winter but it just gos to show how reliable the car is as however cold it got the car never gave any problems.
