Description
Classic Jaguar C Type with the XK 4. 2 litre, straight six engine, 280 BHP road/ race tuned engine and five speed close ratio gearbox. The car was built by CJR in 2007 and used as their demonstrator. It has just completed a faultless run to the Le Mans Classic in temperatures up to 38 degrees.
With a weight of 980 kg and three twin choke Weber 45 carburettors, this is a very fast car, which has covered just over 4100 trouble free miles. The period leather bucket seats are complimented by the correct Bluemels steering wheel, racing harnesses and the transmission tunnel is lined with silver hardura. The car has been meticulously maintained and stored in a heated garage.
Finished in British Racing Green with white racing roundels, this is a superb recreation of one of the most alluring sports racing cars of the period.
Complete with the 4. 2 litre Jaguar XK straight six, independent rear suspension, vented disc brakes, black mohair tonneau and full SVA registration, it enjoys all the advances of modern technology coupled with the glamour of the iconic 1950s design.
