I am very sad to put my very pretty 1962 Karmann Ghia (silver & white) up for sale. It is truly a lovely example, an older model but I've done a lot to update it.
New 1600 Mexican engine (+ heads etc.)
New distributor

New alternator (12v conversion)
New Alpine speakers and sought after classic-looking Pioneer (but 2005) head unit (DEH P177MP) and glove compartment iPod connector.
New tyres all the way around

The 1962 model has the preferable earlier inside styling: cream steering wheel, and button trim throughout, classic grey leather seats with grey and red material bases (better for hot days), the double-dial speedo and clock (rather than the later Micky Mouse ones) and original colour coded silver dash with the original headlining (refitted ones are rarely the same).
The car has a couple of very small scratches on one side, a couple of small paint bobbles and some tiny spots of rust here and there, it is not in concours condition (hence the price) but it is in very good condition and has had everything else upgraded that can be, it looks very pretty indeed and is a real head-turner, as you can hopefully see from the photos.
My wife and I recently got married in it and will be sad to see it go.
