This H-reg (1970) Cortina has been in active service all its life with a genuine 97000 miles on the clock. Lovingly owned and driven by an elderly gentleman until last year, I bought the car in June 2007 for some summer fun. The colour is Ermine white, a few rust patches show through but looks lovely when cleaned up. Underside is very solid and the car was recently serviced. Starts first time and drives wonderfully. The drivers vinyl seat has 2 tears and all 4 wooden interior door top panels could do with sanding and varnishing. The rest of the interior is very nice. Free road tax of course and the car is MOT'd until end April 2008. Only issue for next MOT is a brake pull tothe left which a new caliper would cure (or strip and repair). Also fitted are air horns and a single disc CD player! The boot floor, sills and strut tops are all solid and the engine was overhauled approx 2 years ago by a well known engineering firm in Dundee. Gearchange is smooth and clutch performs great. Not a concourse example but still looks great and is 100% usable. Selling due to no garage space and lack of time to enjoy it! Price stated is very fair and is an "or nearest offer" price.
