Description
An almost mint "A1" condition 1985 Mk2 MG 1300-Metro. 40300 miles, Lots of history including 1st owner had it for 18 years & never took it out in the rain. He kept a log of everything that was ever done to it & the date it was done etc.
Interior is absolutely immaculate, Exterior has a few stone chips to front valence & edge of bonnet plus a very small car park ding/ scuff in the drivers door. It has been thoroughly waxoyled from new & is jet black on all the underside.
The 2nd owner had only driven it twice in the rain & that was on way home from 2 MG shows (one of which I was present at in 2004 with another MG) I have never driven it in the rain, in fact since buying it in Sept 06 I only drove 24 (TwentyFour) miles in it after getting it home - up to the beginning of September 2008. In October 2008 it went to the Metro birthday at Longbridge so had a good run & was a perfect drive!
In the time I have had it the car has spent 99. 9% of it's time in a heated showroom on display or in my garage at home.
I don't think the spare wheel or tool kit has ever been used.
Everything works as it should.
The car will only be sold to a true enthusiast who will appreciate it for what it is.
It passed it's MOT in November & s currently taxed.
