My 1981 911 SC Targa is reluctantly up for sale. I have decided to fulfill a boyhood dream and spend a bit of money on a 993 Coupe. So, it is time to find Gertrude a new home. There seem to be loads of SCs for sale, particularly on Ebay, at silly prices. Mine is not one of them. Why?
Gertrude is an exceptionally well maintained car, with a very recently rebuilt gearbox, a huge service history and owned by TIPEC and PCGB club member. Gertrude has an agreed insurance value of £14k.

Car is exceptional condition for age but it is not perfect. I have been slowly fixing all the little niggles but some are left to do and, with a car approaching 30 years old, some will come anew!
Interior is black leather with red piping – detail extended to door cards and steering wheel. New Targa roof, Original tool kit, spare wheel and compressor, service documents and wallet included. MP3/ single play CD/ radio. Toad Cat 2 Immobiliser, MOT (1 year), Tax (6 months).
Buy cheap, buy twice. Instead, buy Gertrude - you won't be disappointed.
Price: I have recently reduced the price to £8, 995 (which for this car, given its 14k agreed insurance value, is a bargain) However all sensible offers will be considered.
