For sale - Currently on a Sorn but with a brand new MOT - valid until Sept 09 - The car needs some work, but is a very sound project. It's never been messed about and as far as I'm aware is factory standard. It's very fast, has all the toys and some nice touches. Aircon, electric windows & mirrors, immobiliser, airbags, climate control, pas, leather/ suede seats, cat converter and alloys. It has suffered some minor damage when a roof tile fell on it after some bad weather. You can just see it in one of the pictures. I have been told by my local garage it would cost about £200 to repair. The car has been standing for 2+ years. It's my sons car, but he now lives abroad and although he wanted to keep it, it's just going to waste. So we have decided to sell. Because it's been standing for so long the rear tyres need renewing. If were me I would replace them all anyway. Prior to being parked up, the engine had a full service, cambelt replaced, turbo and a lot of other work by a Toyota specialist. A full receipt of this work is available. The paintwork is reasonable and looks good when polished up, but it's getting tired. After 2+ years of standing and charging the battery it started 1st time! So before selling I've had it fully serviced, new discs and brakes all round, all the fluids changed, new plugs and dist cap etc.. Underneath its very sound, no rust, but I would clean and paint to make secure. This car needs to be used. There maybe some other small items that will need renewing, like bushes etc, but until it's used you can't tell. If your'e not bothered about the cosmetics, then buy some tyres and off you go. But if you carried out the repairs to the paintwork, gave it some TLC you would end up with a lovely car for very little money. These are little Ferrari's and are bound to achieve classic car status one day. Especially in this spec. I strongly reccomend viewing. The car is in Maidenhead. It will need to be trailored away as it's not taxed and tthe rear tyres are cracking on the walls.
