Description
This is a 1968 Triumph Vitesse in need of a full body restoation. The car starts, runs and drives. The brake pedal appears to be siezed but handbake is fine. The chassis is very good having had the outrigers and outer rails replaced. excellent mohair hood is fitted. The seats and carpets have all been replaced and are in perfect condition. The car has a file full of bills and history. The car has had four owners from new and covered 82, 000miles from new. There are old mots and copies of previous log books. There is a file full of bills. The last work that was carried out was in 2000 and the owner spent £3500 with Maidstone Sports Cars who are Triumph specialist. This included the new mohair hood and interior, seats, carpets, outriggers. ect. plus lots of mechanical work including a new stainless steel exhaust. The main work required is to restore the poor bodywork and recomission the mechanics after storage. The engine is good, no rattles on start up.
