Up for sale is my wifes capri 2. 8i I bought it at the begining of the year after it had been garaged and off the road for 10 years it has had a couple of bits of welding done to the front wheel/ arch area and rear spring hanger .
The brake calipers have been overhauled , a new rear wheel cylinder and brake pipes fitted , a replacement power steering pump fitted . The fuel tank has been removed cleaned out and treated and a replacement pump fitted , the fuel metering unit and fuel filter .
The engine has had an oil & filter change , spark plugs etc it runs well and sounds good has good oil pressure and doesent smoke . The RS wheels have new locking wheelnuts , It has had a lot of money spent recently I also have some service history/ receipts etc. The car has the type 9 five speed gearbox, janspeed exhaust manifolds, alarm and all the usual bits, the bodywork is very good original sills , wings etc there are a couple of small blisters , the heater fan does not work and the rear fog lights other than that I dont think its in bad nick for a nearly 25 year old car , at present the car is on sorn I am still having second thoughts but the car I realy want is a MK1 capri facelift if the car does not sell I will probably keep it and finish it of in the spring.
