The limited edition CSi cars are considered to be true ‘M’ cars as they were finessed by the Munich based BMW M GmbH factory – also responsible for M3, M5 etc.
Delivered with a Full Specification, was used by BMW UK as the official Press car for 1994. Enthusiasts comment this fact makes the car rarer and more desirable.
Powered by BMW's 'bullet-proof' 380hp V12 5. 6 litre S70 engine and fitted with a manual 6-speed gearbox, this powerful car is a pleasure to drive in heavy traffic or out on the open road – (Power to Weight ratio comparable with an M3).
The 4 wheel steering system (AHK) places the car in a class of its own by offering increased agility, stability and confidence while cornering at speed.
The exterior paint colour is Orient Blue metallic with a two-tone Charcoal / Silver Grey leather interior.
This car is in excellent condition and has always been maintained to the highest standard (Full Service History).
I have had this car meticulously maintained to as near ‘new condition’ as possible and all service work has been carried-out by specialist BMW engineers using exclusively BMW OEM parts, this has been recorded in the receipts folder.
Many systems have been rebuilt or replaced, including: AC, 4 Wheel steering system (AHK), Ignition / Throttle system, Batteries, Radiator, Windscreen wiper motors, Re-spray by approved BMW paint specialist, Brake disks and Brake System overhaul, Alloy Wheels refinished - the list goes on...
Recently the Head Gaskets have been replaced, the engine is now full of life and this work (parts and labour) is guaranteed for 2 years!
A full set of new tyres fitted, this car will be sold with a new MOT.
I have used the car on a daily basis and it has proven to be very reliable offering up to 27 miles per gallon on a run.
Currently installed is a state-of-the-art Kenwood Electric fold-out touch-screen, voice-activated, remote-control Navigation / CD, DVD system with high quality twin amplifiers and JL Audio speakers - all of which provide a very high quality sound (one feature the 8 series designers never perfected). All of the elements of the AV system have been invisibly, tastefully and professionally installed and cost £5k.
This circa. £90k (original price) Supercar with its low mileage (average 7400 miles per year) offers a lifetime of driving pleasure ahead.
