The Appeal
The Facel-Vega Facellia ranks among the rarest models from the celebrated French marque. Launched in 1960 to offer a more compact and sporty car against the Alfa Romeos, Porsches and Triumphs of the era, it combines the elegance and refinement characteristic of Facel-Vega with a 1,646 cc four-cylinder engine featuring dual overhead camshafts. Its four-speed manual gearbox is also signed by Pont-à-Mousson.
Produced in just over a thousand examples according to sources, the Facellia is particularly rare today.
This 1960 example, presented in white with a red leather interior, comes from a private collection and is offered in the condition as acquired. It is said to retain its original bodywork, paint and interior trim, forming an authentic, unrestored ensemble. The seller states that the car is in good mechanical condition, starting easily and running correctly.
Sold with its classic car registration document, original handbook, technical documentation and several service invoices, it offers the opportunity to acquire a rare model from French automotive history in honest and largely original condition.
