Powered by a 7,200cc V8 paired with a four-speed automatic
The Appeal
Body, powerful, big and brash, the Chevrolet C10 continues to be one of the most iconic American trucks in history, perfect as a multi-purpose pickup and quickly becoming almost synonymous with the Midwest. So synonymous, in fact, that superb parts availability and a history of well-treaded mods make the C10 one of the most popular custom projects in history.
This imposing example has been chopped down and souped up as a one-off in Rat Rod style. This remarkable machine is powered by a 7,200cc V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, resulting in a roaring, cacophonous custom. Needless to say, it captures plenty of attention.
Purchased in 2019 from a collector who imported it from the US, the truck was set up for UK road use and put through an MOT. It has been dry stored throughout the current ownership of approximately seven years, covering just an estimated 200–300 miles in that time. The vendor states it starts on the button and is remarkably driveable. Raw, loud, and utterly distinctive, this rat-rod is quite unlike any other. image.png1.44 MB
