The Appeal
The Series 3 is the E-Type you need if you want to use and fully enjoy your car. Its longer wheelbase offers increased driving comfort and allows for wider doors and a higher roofline, making these later models much more accessible. And of course, there's that exceptionally smooth V12 engine.
This dark blue 1973 car, equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, is one of the finest we've seen in a long time. This is largely due to its long-term owner, who has spent considerable sums perfecting the car you see in the photos. The work carried out in 2013, totalling over €16,000, included general servicing, brakes, differential, suspension, air conditioning and electrical system. In December 2025, the car underwent further work, including repainting.
The elegance of the exterior is enhanced by a beautifully preserved red leather interior. This late-series E-Type, well-equipped and substantially improved, will have appeal for enthusiasts. It is sold with a recent MOT and recent independent inspection.

For drivers who want to enjoy the smoothness of Jaguar's remarkable V12 engine, the manual gearbox is a sensible choice that allows you to make full use of the engine's exceptional torque. It allows smooth acceleration from 20 mph in top gear.
As shown in the photos and details above, this car has received considerable mechanical attention. The seller has confirmed that the 43,000 miles shown on the clock are accurate, although this has not been verified. It is sold with the recent MOT certificate.
