The Appeal
Get a Beetle, make it a convertible. It's an irresistible formula and one that perfectly hit the 70s, free-spirited zeitgeist. Needless to say, it's also one of the most-clamoured-for variants of the Beetle out there. It's obvious as to why - the perky little people's car makes for a perfect sun trap.
This '73 Beetle has been meticulously restored to a high standard. The full restoration in 2013, which was featured in VolksWorld Magazine, is still shining and makes for a highly impressive little car. The vehicle's impressive specification includes a 1,955cc engine built by Laurie Petit, a Porsche 914 5-speed gearbox, and a custom exhaust system.image.png4.33 MB
