Developed by BTCC legend Andy Rouse in conjunction with the Ford Motor Company, the 304R package elevated the already formidable RS Cosworth 4x4 with an uprated Garrett turbocharger, remapped ECU, reworked induction and exhaust systems, an aerodynamic bodykit, and Rouse-branded Recaro seats. With only around 78 examples believed to have been produced from a planned run of 100, these are genuinely rare machines.
This Moondust Silver example benefits from a clear and traceable history. Supplied new by Grays Ford of Guildford to Mary Gray, wife of the dealership owner, it retains its original supplying dealer stickers and number plates. The car is accompanied by a letter from Andrew Rouse himself, and the stamped service book records regular servicing from new, predominantly carried out by the supplying dealer.
