The Appeal

The E63 6-Series replaced BMW’s flagship 8-Series by taking what was good about that car, namely the effortless performance, quality, and luxury, and returning a healthy dose of the original E24 6-Series’ style and agility. It proved a winning formula and a distinctive alternative to less engaging European rivals.

The 650i is a canny choice that boosts performance without the complexity of the V10-engined M6. It is a much more relaxed cruiser, making it perfect for long-distance mile-munching. This 2008 car eschews more common silvers in favour of attractive Tiefsee Blue metallic, matched with a black leather cabin generously trimmed in Maple Wood Grain. Inside and out, it is in great order, the only really notable point being some scuffs to the factory alloys.

The history file tells a similar story. There are 11 service stamps up to February 2025 at 103,456 miles, when we are told there was a major service including plugs and oil pressure control valves.
