The Appeal

The F-Type P300 R-Dynamic is widely regarded as the best-balanced and most agile version of Jaguar's now-discontinued sports car. Without the weight of the larger engines sitting over the front axle, the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder delivers sharp, responsive steering and nimble handling through tight corners, while the R-Dynamic package adds the aggressive styling cues typically associated with the more powerful models in the range.

This 2018 example in Ultimate Black has been well looked after throughout its life. It spent its first seven years with a single registered owner and was serviced annually at Marshall Jaguar in Oxford from its pre-delivery inspection right through to 2024. Earlier this year, the car was entrusted to Swallows Jaguar, an independent Jaguar specialist in Somerset, for a program of work including a ZF 8-speed gearbox service, an ECU remap, the fitment of a 300-cell sports catalytic converter, and a full underbody and subframe corrosion treatment. The seller states that these upgrades bring the car's power delivery and exhaust note closer to V6 character, while retaining the four-cylinder's advantages in fuel economy, rego, and reliability.
