This beautiful Series 1 1962 E-Type OTS finished in the original colour combination of Opalescent Silver Blue with a striking full Connolly Blue interior was purchased from a dealer in Pennsylvania 2016 from its original owner, The E-Type came over from California with all original vin number, chassis tags never been removed chalk marks in place from the production line, during the restoration process the paintwork looked original along with near perfect bodywork.
The full restoration that took place in 2017 was a full body soda blasted to bare metal, all the mechanical components fully stripped and inspected, new bearings, seals and joints, complete engine and gearbox overhaul and comes with original moss box Stainless exhaust, Hayward and Scott 6x15 stainless new wire wheels fitted with Michelin XWX tyres. The Braking system is a Fossway upgrade 4 pot caliper vented discs brake system, Fossway finned alloy radiator Multi blade fan cooling unit Fully rebuilt axle. Re painted in original Opalescent Silver Blue, fully re-trimmed in Connolly leather, new hood, boot trim and carpets. The restoration process has been fully documented and photographed.
