We are delighted to offer for sale this truly exceptional Rover Mini Sidewalk, an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire such an honest, low mileage and wonderfully original example.
Showing just 36k miles from new and accompanied by only two previous owners recorded on the V5, this charming little Mini has clearly led a cherished, garaged life from day one.
Finished exactly as it should be, our lovely Sidewalk presents in remarkably original condition throughout with lovely bodywork. The body remains impressively straight with excellent panel fitment across all apertures, the doors shut beautifully and all panels retain a consistent finish throughout.
Corrosion is minimal to none, while the original Sidewalk decals and factory pinstripes remain beautifully kept - something seldom seen on unrestored examples today.
Inside, the condition continues to impress just as strongly. The original seats, door cards and interior trim are exceptionally well kept and present with very little wear at all, looking as though they have hardly been used. Even the original Rover radio remains!
Externally, the brightwork is equally impressive, with all chrome trim retaining an excellent shine with only the very slightest signs of age-related patina. Finding an unrestored Mini of this calibre, particularly one retaining so much originality, has become increasingly difficult in today’s market.
Accompanying the vehicle is its original handbook pack and manuals, alongside a stamped service booklet. We have also carried out an interim engine oil and filter service in-house prior to sale for the benefit of its next custodian.
The history file is equally pleasing, containing a good collection of supporting paperwork including the original blue V5/ C registration document from the original owner.
The car boasts a set of brand new Minilite wheels with brand new Nankang Tyres. The original steel wheels are also present, again with new tyres fitted!
