This is one of the very last twinshock RT’s prior to the launch of the later monoshock bikes.
UK registered from new, and first on the road in June of 1984. Already registered as Historic Status, so MOT exempt, and free road tax.
There is a significant history file to accompany the bike, with details of servicing / upgrades over its 22 years. It’s also nice to see all of the old MOTs (and old tax discs) supporting the very genuine 54k miles.
Being the last of the desirable twin shocks, the bike benefits from twin front Brembo callipers, and drum rear, with electronic ignition as standard. It also has the auxiliary time and voltmeter clocks installed. A lovely set of new factory panniers (with keys) have been fitted in recent years, and also stainless silencers.
The bike has just gone through the workshop having had a new battery, new plugs, valve clearances adjusted, and engine, gearbox and final drive oils changed. Obviously HPI clear.
This is a largely unmolested, honest old bike, and I would suggest a great
