I am selling my 1993 Peugeot 205 Roland Garros 1. 4 petrol, imported from the Netherlands.
I’m only selling it because I’m starting another car project.
The car is in very good overall condition and has undergone several recent repairs:
* Bodywork redone about 7 months ago
* Serviced about 1 month ago
* Water pump and timing belt replaced about 2, 000 km ago
* Clutch appears to have been replaced recently (I do not have a receipt to confirm this)
* 1. 4 petrol engine
* Roland Garros version
* Interior generally in good condition for its age
Things to bear in mind / faults
I prefer to be completely transparent:
* The fuse box does not fit properly. This is a fairly common issue on the 205 and is mainly a cosmetic issue inside the cabin, with no particular impact on the car’s overall appearance.
* The driver’s seat shows more wear than the others and has a few loose stitches. I prefer to keep it in its original condition rather than replace it with upholstery that wouldn’t suit the car.
* The struts are missing, so the boot lid does not stay open at the top
The car is ideal for someone looking for a Roland Garros 205 with a solid foundation, whether to keep it as it is, gradually improve its reliability, or carry out a minor restoration.
