The Peugeot 301 was an elegant pre-war family saloon, produced for four years between 1932 and 1936. It was one of the first mass-produced cars to be fitted with independent front suspension, which greatly improved handling and reduced vibration in the steering wheel - a feature that made it a popular choice for taxis at the time.
Here we present a beautifully restored example of the 301D, the latest evolution in the line. It has an unusual history: restored by a farm worker from Romanée Conti, he then sold it to the current owner's father to finance his daughter's wedding. Stored in a dry garage for the last fifteen years, it is now waiting for a new keeper to take it on the road again.image.png4.19 MB
